I got this idea at a friend's baby shower. It was mentioned as a joke, but I've tested it and it is possible. Although I don't know what long term consequences come from this activity. Remember I'm the girl who did push-ups a day after breaking my collar bone.
People at work have told me I do too much as a pregnant women. I have tried to continue to do things as long as I feel up to it. Honestly I feel the best when I'm doing something active. It is when I'm trying to relax that I feel the most PAIN. Last night Troy and I went swing dancing. I'm sure it was quite the sight seeing a 8 month pregnant women dancing. I can only imagine what my co-workers would say if they saw me do these stunts???

he he, Katie that would be impressive even if you weren't pregnant, and doing it while pregnant makes it doubly impressive. You're a super hula hooper!
You're amazing!
You go girl!! As long as your doctor is fine with it, and your not doing anything too harmful to the baby, I say keep it up. I have a tough time exercising when I am pregnant so I say if you can do it, then do it safely. You are hilarious.
Katie - I just saw your blog. You are so funny - your baby will have a hard time keeping up with you. I just laughed at your video. It is good to stay active, especially when you are pregnant. I worked full time until the day I had my daughter (I have a teaching contract and you have to), but it kept me focused and made the time go by quickly. I am excited for you to have a baby!
You are crazy!!! If I did that I would probably just throw my hip out.
Hi Katie =)
I love your blog...can't wait to see new pictures of the baby. You are getting close! oh, how I remember how it felt like Noah's due date would NEVER get here. He ended up coming 4 weeks early. Thank goodness! I was ready...ya know.
Wow!! Good for you! Most of us can't even do that not pregnant....LOL
Your baby's first words that day, "Get me out of here. I am so dizzy I think I'm gonna throw up. Bleahhhh!"
Adventurous mom to say the least. Will you be ready for a 10k on July 24th?

Colleen,
I'm hoping to be ready for the 10K. I'm also hoping to do a mini triathalon in August. I'm not sure what recovery will be like, but I have an awesome running stroller I can't wait to use. Currently I'm in no condition to run even down the road so we shall see.
I can't stop to watch this video! it's so funny! Nice blog!!!
